Hold your own private To Burn, Forest, Fire ceremony on International Day of Forests 21.3.2025!
On the Night of Science 9 January 2025, we will be giving away incense packs for Katie Paterson’s IHME Helsinki Commission 2021 To Burn, Forest, Fire before and after the screening at Cinema Orion at 17:30 and 19:30. We encourage you to form your own group and hold an incense ceremony on International Day of Forests in March, and then share photos or videos of it with us on social media.
To Burn, Forest, Fire consist of the scent of the first-ever forest on earth and the scent of the last forest of the age of climate crisis. The incense pack includes two incenses, instructions for the ceremony and a booklet opening the scientific background of the work.
Come and get yours on 9 January 2025. There are packs for the first 100 people.
