IHME Helsinki Commission 2024

At the heart of IHME is an annual public artwork

IHME Helsinki Commissions are made together with an artist or artist group and Finnish and foreign partners, in public space in Finland and abroad. IHME Helsinki Commission 2024 is Maaleipä Challenge by Cooking Sections. The challenge is part of Cooking Section’s CLIMAVORE project. During spring and summer 2024 the Challenge invited everyone in Finland to create bread recipes that combine the well-being of land, water and people’s guts.

The best breads and bakers receive prizes at the Maaleipä Feast on 21 September 2024. All the finalist recipes are now published at the challenge website.
