Mika Nousiainen, doctoral researcher in art history at the University of Helsinki, is collecting material about The Forest for his doctoral thesis, Ecosocial Education in IHME Helsinki and Climate Whirl. The research is part of the University of Helsinki’s EcoConjunctions project, which studies the interaction between contemporary art, natural sciences, and civil society. The project is funded by the Academy of Finland.

You can take part in the anonymous survey by visiting the exhibition and filling out a paper form there. If you have already visited the exhibition and would like to participate in the survey, you can fill out the form electronically

Nousiainen is also looking for people to interview about the exhibition.

It would be wonderful if you would like to be interviewed for his research. Interviews will be conducted in October-November 2025. If you are interested, please contact doctoral researcher Mika Nousiainen.
